Road tests and knowledge tests may also be scheduled online on the DVS site. In the State of MN, driver education instructors are not allowed to proctor the road skills test.

Please visit the DVS Site to locate an office near you and make an appointment.  Students and parents looking to schedule a driver's test can now receive notifications when appointments become available. By signing up online, applicants will receive emails from Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS) as soon as new appointments open up. The notifications will alert subscribers to availability but will not reserve the appointment. Subscribers will still have to make the appointment online. To subscribe, visit the appointments section at drive.mn.gov and click on the link called “Manage your appointment availability subscriptions."
