CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION

The Breckenridge Public School District will offer two sessions of the classroom portion of driver education in 2024.

Session 1: SESSION 1 IS FULL. No further registrations will be accepted for Session 1. June 10-21 Monday through Friday 9 a.m. -- Noon (Make-up dates June 22 & 23)

Session 2: July 29-Aug. 9 Monday through Friday 9 a.m. -- Noon (Make-up dates August 10 & 11)
Students who are 14 may take the classroom portion of driver education.

The non-refundable tuition fee of $325 includes 30 classroom hours and 6 behind-the-wheel hours.

Students may take driver education from any state approved school program or private provider. Please see the list of approved private providers linked on this webpage.

Breckenridge driver education instructors will only conduct behind-the-wheel lessons with students who have completed the classroom portion of driver education with the Breckenridge Public School District. Students who have taken an online class for driver education, completed a homeschool curriculum, or students who completed the classroom portion with another school district will not be allowed to sign up for behind-the-wheel lessons with the Breckenridge Public School District.
