Your student may take classroom and behind the wheel lessons from any approved program in the state of Minnesota. Please use the link HERE to view the DVS webpage. Click on "Public and Private School Driver Education Programs" to view a list of approved programs.
Breckenridge driver education instructors will only conduct behind-the-wheel lessons with students who have completed the classroom portion of driver education with the Breckenridge Public School District. Students who have taken an online class for driver education, completed a homeschool curriculum, or students who completed the classroom portion with another driving school will not be allowed to sign up for behind-the-wheel lessons with the Breckenridge Public School District.

CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION 2025
The Breckenridge School District will hold one session of the classroom portion of driver education. Class will be held from 9am to Noon, Monday through Friday, from July 21 to August 1.
Driver education class for 2025 is full. No additional registrations will be accepted.
Students who are 14 may take the classroom portion of driver education.
The non-refundable tuition fee of $325 includes 30 classroom hours and 6 behind-the-wheel hours.
